Our Story...

John Reider, also known in St. Louis, MO as "The Bubble Man," developed the Atomic Bubbles® brand over the past decade. Entrepreneurs by nature, John and his wife, Beth, began the Bubble Bus® in 2005 and have franchises in several states. So many Bubble Bus® customers have asked over the years, "Where can I buy your bubbles? They are SO much better than the bubbles in the local stores!"

John has since created many bubble products, including:

We love our business and are very proud of our quality products! They are all locally-crafted in St. Louis, MO!

About Our Bubbles

The Science of Light

All light is a form of electromagnetic radiation.  It behaves both like a wave and as a stream of particles called photons.

The photons we humans can see – known as the visible light spectrum – form a rainbow of color.  The spectrum is red at one end, green in the middle and violet at the other end. Each color is characterized by its wavelength, along with the energy of its photons. Red has the longest wavelength and the least energetic photon.  Violet light, on the other hand, has a shorter wavelength and more energy.

Just beyond the violet light in the visible spectrum is invisible ultraviolet (UV) light.  It is more commonly known as black light.

The Teknology Behind our UV Bubbles and Snow

TEKNO BUBBLES®,  PROTONIC PAINT SPLATTER BUBBLES and SNO-DRIFT UV SNOW FLUID contain special patented compounds with fluorescent molecules that absorb invisible light from ultraviolet sources before emitting visible, glowing light.

How is that possible, you ask?

When ultraviolet photons enter these molecules, some of the photon’s energy causes the molecules to vibrate. When the light re-emerges from the molecules, it has less energy and is now within the visible light spectrum.  This is why our patented TEKNO BUBBLES®, PROTONIC PAINT SPLATTER BUBBLES and SNO-DRIFT UV SNOW FLUID appear to GLOW LIKE CRAZY!
